John
Dingemans was elected Chairman.
The
Wood Barn application has been allowed.
Steve
Jarvis spoke about the Government’s desire to build more houses in SE
England and the effect of the Baldock Bypass on local traffic. Concern was
expressed about the Trans European Road Network and the siting of these
roads.
Planning
application for increased capacity for composting is being considered. The
weighbridge at Cumberlow green farm is being moved. It was requested that
compost was stockpiled 100m from the road. The latest letter from the
County Council failed to answer many of the relevant questions.
The
Rural Bus Initiative Consultation is asking villagers to complete
questionnaires on the needs of rural transport. Phone K Povey-Richard
