MINUTES' HIGHLIGHTS 21st May 2003


Nick Launder was elected as Chairman.

Cumberlow Green Farm's composting business has been given a clean bill of health by the NHDC.

The Environment Agency has been approached regarding the clearing of the River Bean that has led to recent flooding.

The water main will not now be replaced this year.

P.C. Marina will be approached regarding enforcement on the Mill End speed limit.

The A507 between Clothall and Cumberlow Green will be closed from 16th June for an estimated 5 weeks.Diversions will operate via the A505 and A10. Concern was expressed re possible use of the road through Wallington, the Slip End road and the Mill End road by heavy lorries during this time.

Martin Dingeman's application for a barn conversion was discussed.

Erosion of the sides of the Wallington and Slip End roads was discussed.
