MINUTES' HIGHLIGHTS 11th November 2001 and 11th February 2002


Rushden and Wallington Parish Council Highlights of meeting held on Monday 11th February 2002

1. The erosion of Holly Lane is an ongoing problem.

2. The Parish Council will request enforcement of speed limits.

3. Building is progressing on the grain store.

4. Consent has been given to the hillside conversion subject to certain
conditions.

Next meeting is at Rushden on Monday 15th April.

AGM is at Wallington on Monday 20th May.

Speed Signs:- Overgrowing foliage obscuring the signs needs to be trimmed
back.

Rainbow Barn:- Planning permission has been granted subject to inclusion of
turning circle.

Hillside Cottage:- Planning permission has been refused. Outhouses must be
taken down in accordance with previous planning. The Parish Council thanked
parishioners who had supported them at the District Council meeting.

Grain Store:- construction is progressing.

Village notice board:- a cork front is to be put on to make pinning up
notices easier.

The Next Parish Council Meeting is being held at Wallington on MONDAY 11th February 2002 at 8.00pm.  It is open to the public.  Please come along to hear what is being discussed and to give your views.
