Hanging Baskets and Propagation - Wednesday 30 May 2001
The Hazlemere Golf Club just north of High Wycombe, was the venue for a hanging basket and propogation demonstration given by Mike Gethin, a very enthusiastic member of the South Chilterns Group.

Mike starts to show us how to produce a fantastic hanging basket. He said that once he had planted them up he would trim all the plants back and in a couple of weeks they had bushed out and gave a much more attractive display. Mike said that he had produced many hundreds of hanging baskets as he used to run his own garden centre.
The hanging baskets complete, Mike goes on to show propogation techniques. He talked about every conceivable type of plant to propagate including shrubs. He had some of his fuschia and other hanging basket type plants on sale for us at the end of the demonstration.
