Neighbourhood Watch

Thanks to all those who attended the Neighbourhood Watch Meeting in Rushden and Therfield last month. The meeting was an opportunity for local residents to express their concerns and for the local Neighbourhood Team to update watch members of local crime.

At the meeting the locations of Watch members were discussed as ideally the Police Neighbourhood Team and Neighbourhood watch would like to have at least one or two members in each street.

The members would receive priority crime updates and from the Police messaging Online Watch link system (OWL) relevant to their area. All we ask is that those members pass on the information to their friends and neighbours where applicable, encourage residents to be observant and to report all suspicious persons or incidents to the Police as soon as possible to give them the best chance of getting to the area to check these out. Please be assured that crime in your area is very low and but we need your help to keep crime down in your villages.
