Cash Points

I know that I mentioned this before but please beware of Cash points, there are people out there that have found a way to hold your bank/credit cards in cash points. This is by way of an item called a ‘Lebanese Loop’; this is a small piece of plastic that is inserted into the cash point (where you put your card). This then holds your card.

One method is:- When you think the card is stuck or has been retained by the bank the offender then arrives and offers assistance and watches you put in your pin number again. This is after he or she have suggested you have one more try at getting the machine to work. You then leave to take issue with the bank and they withdraw your card and with the pin number all your money.

Method two:- the offenders watch you with a very small camera putting your pin number into a cash point. The small camera is fixed to the cash machine on the outer casing and is very small and is very hard to see if you do not know what you are looking for. The loop can record your card details and although you have your card returned to you the offenders have enough information to make up another card and also have your pin number.

So please beware.
