The soup and cheese evening was enjoyed by everyone who came, one person going so far as to say it was the best evening yet held by FORC in the village. Meril gave a fascinating talk on cheeses and cheese making and then guests were invited to enjoy a bowl (or several bowls in some cases!) of different soups, before helping themselves to a varied selection of cheeses which were then available for sale.
